That looks similar to a lure I have, which was tentatively id'd as a Munt.
However, mine has been repainted so can't compare directly.

I'm thinking a Munt shape, but expected a better paint job unless it was an early one

Found in Cairns you say? Could it be a Jim Adams, something about that blue scale pattern.

He used a very similar blue colour, but I haven't seen this shape in one of his before or such a small scale pattern. That's not saying it isn't his though. Billy if you were to get hold of Keith at Bransford's tackle store he should be able to tell you if it's a Jim Adam as he used to stock them.
