Would like to see that in action. A 3D printer would be able to make these paddles.
This will be one to watchThumbs Up

I had one of Daiwa versions some years back, the props didn't spin very well though for some reason, maybe it sat to high in the water? How do they spin on this one Shane? Cheers Paul.

I love the concept Shane - a "flutter wing" cicada. Now for the paint and give it a whirl, so to speak.
Well done,
Col

Hi Paul.. they spin well just doing short sharp rips with the rod, u can hear the noise the paddles are making with that & water spraying as well.....tried 2 do slow retrieve wasn't as effective but as I picked up pace on the retrieve they started cracking again. ...think their is a way 2 use them.....but I think I will b able 2 play around a fair bit once I make em in plastic as I can change where the props sit on the body & the buoyancy.....see what happens cheers Shane. ....

Just had a thought... maybe try moving the paddles into the back half of the lure? Less lift of the paddles out of the water? Might give action at lower retrieve speeds.

then again, I'm pretty much speaking out of my backside.

Awesome lures at any rate.

cheers,

Ces.
