I just finish this one up. It is a large lure designed to catch a musky and large Pike.

Carved from a PVC body. Floats, and dives to about 4 feet maximum.

[QUOTE=Rocket*Surgeon]

Carved from a PVC body. Floats, and dives to about 4 feet maximum.

Excellent Work But what is detailed in carving a PVC body, is this a regular practice ?
Is it the same method that would be used with timber?
Sorry I know little about this and I will not even begin to ask the method used to create the paint work
Cheers Kimo

Hi Kimo
Yes, it is just like carving a timber lure. Actually a little bit easier. Plus, since it is completely water resistant, you don’t have to do any ceiling of the wood. Makes it really easy to test for ballast. I get my PVC at a local place called Lowe’s, but you can also get it at any place that sells a Azek decking.
