Okay so I'm looking for a suitable topcoat for my metal lures. I've read that typical epoxy top coat where it's painted on and then put ona rotator is too thick and actually alters the motion of the lure in use.
Would an aerosol car lacquer be suitable in terms of endurance?

I think I'm going to explore the uv epoxy resin system, will post an update if that's the way I go.

Hey Laurence Try this--"KBS Diamond finish'' or something like it, I think epoxies might be a bit brittle on a metal lure and may just crack off in sheets.
If you have a heap to do this stuff is tough, its a moisture cure single pack lacquer.
READ the instructions first.
