Gday Curt, and welcome to LureLovers Smile

Interesting looking lures, they look like they might have been modelled on a Nilsmaster lure. Eric Moller did some in a similar style, although I don't think the ones you have are Mollers

Hopefully some of the other guys can be of more assistance!
Cheers, Tony

Probably way off but that paint job tiger stripe say's Basstad to me. Does that make sence? They were a Darwin lure were they?

The wire is stainless and the eyes are very fine, both signs if George's lures. Where did you buy them ?

Craig
Do you mean George Dempster?
They are the same as one that Tony posted in the Dempster lures.

There are some similarities to a few of my Dempsters..

The bib design looks similar to the bib on the Dempster Mouse

The fine guage S/S wire is another

Elements of the design are also similar to the Dempster Mackeral lures...

and the eyes...

Very interesting...

I don't suppose you'd consider parting with one or more Curt? I have quite a few models of Dempster lures and if that is one of Georges I'd love to add one another model to the family Tongue I'd gladly swap another Dempster lure on the chance it could be a model I don't have (then again it could turn out to be something altogether different)

Well I checked out Curts listing on ebay... Big smile

Here's some more shots of these lures that hopefully might help solve the riddle.

Here's a shot with a Dempster Mackerel lure on top, then one of the mystery lures, and a couple of Mollers on the bottom

And another with a couple of Basstads in the middle

The pattern looks slightly similar to the Basstad stripes, although certainly not identical in pattern. I'd love to see some different lures from the Forresters if any of you have any in different patterns. The eyes are very different to the basstads.

Several of the features do fit the Dempster profile (eyes, wire, bib similar to the Dempster Mouse, and similar profile to the Dempster mackerel lure) although I've never seen a Dempster in this pattern....

As Curt said in his original post - Help!!!!!! (please) LOL
