That Rosewood is a bit tricky to carve!  Very definite grain that is very unforgivving.  You look like you've concquered the Rosewood carving dilemas. ClapClap

Paul    even though it's not lures it would be awesome to see a nude guitar made out of some of the mentioned timbers...and maybe some of the shaping techniques that could be used in luremaking if it's possible without giving any secrets away,,please....

sorry Bryan forgot to say beautiful lures i see why nicho calls you a perfectionist.  love new guinea rosewood for looks but i find it too heavy to use them for fishing as mine all sank on the swim test wich is a pity as i can get heaps of this stuff for free.

All of the N/G rosewood that i have and use float and  swim fine, i have found it good for making  heavier lures for casting, i have a fair bit of it and have not had a problem with it
