Picked these up during my trip to Tassie amongst others.

Similar to the French version. These appear darker

I wonder if the bib (impressed  Teal New Zealand )was actually made with the lure in France and exported out to N. Z.

It is the first time that I have come across them

Cannot compare at the moment as my French ones are packed.

Anybody else happen to have come across them in their travels.

Regards John

John, found one years ago at the Darwin tip dump shop in an old tacklebox. Can't remember now if it was French or from NZ. Will check on my return home.
The other three Tassie lures with cards you posted, nice pick-ups, just shows they're still out there, even from the 60's.
Regards, Seaweed.

Made in NZ and date to the 1970's. I have some information on them for you John that I found in the Roger Hungerford book 'How to Fish with Lures'. It shows some spinners and and other models too

Got these two Teal lures last week and a similar one with "Superflex" marked on the bib. They have a nice wiggle I the test tank and might try the red one on the Sootys when the river clears.
