Sorry to hear this, Dollar an Inch Pipeline George. Never met George but a mate who came from Townsville, used to bring his lures back to Darwin in the mid 80's.
Caught my first lure caught barra on one of his 3" models and many billabong fish on his green models. 86yrs. a great innings.
Regards, Seaweed.

Yes George was a gentlemen who always had time for you, no mater who you were. I spent many an hour under George's house watching him make lures and always walked away with a couple. R.I.P. George.

Like the greats he'll live forever amongst the boats, tackle boxes and collections of Australian anglers. Will always remember the lures under the house and the hand painted sign in the front gate. Good work George

Sad news about Pipeline George. I was hoping to catch up with George, when I head north next year.  He was a bit of an icon and I bought many lures from him in the late 80's.

Handshake
