I have been hiding away for a little while but I have managed to make a couple of new lures.

How much action in the tails? Have they caught fish yet?

Owing to health issues I have not fished much this year actually only once so I have been unable to test these plus a herd of other lures on fish but I have tank tested them and the tails move nicely not over actively, there are two lures that look similar, that is due to the fact they are the same just that I trimmed a section out of the tail to look a frog like. Thanks for taking an interest in my lures.

The hook placement will depend where I will be fishing, I do favour a hidden weight style hook where possible in the flathead sculpin style lures in the frog thing I would like to go weight less and weedless, but could change if the conditions warranted it.

Thanks we have a fair bit of dried grass blown into Lake Eucumbene at the moment on the edges, stuffs up the fly and lure casts at the moment.
Need a few days of some strong winds to blow it away. Regards John
