G'day all, Been out with a mate and his little mad dogs.
Went up the road for a day out fishing with the little mad dogs and they were using some mad dog lures what's going to be at the Lure Expo 2018.
These little buggers were small but the kids love catching them.

Cheers,
Mad Dog

Great to see kids fishing. Catching Spangled Perch on lures is great fun.
What a shame Spangleds don't grow very big - they are aggressive, take lures, taste fantastic & look great. The only thing they don't do is jump!

Is  it an aggressive thing.
The lure is to large for the fish to swallow.

We note the same think up here
A 5 -6 inch trout on a 2 to 2 1/2 inch  lure.

I put it down to area fighting.

Great to see the kids having fun out doors away from all that electrical  and battery equipment

regards John
