A mate has just came back from the top end and used the same model and burnt design as the 2nd lure from top.Out fished every lure he used and others that his mates were using. At least 15 barra were landed with this particular model/burnt design in less than a day till the next barra snagged it up and had to be broken off.Cry

Thanks Pete.
All the poly and alloy bibbed deep divers ( new models) have all passed when i took them up the top end 2 weeks ago and am at the stage of getting a few made up.These i tested in 6m deep water and were touching bottom so they will be classed as 6+ metre divers.Wind them slower and they can be worked at lesser depths.VERY VERSATILE..Will post pics when ready.Wink

Very nice. The burnt designs certainly come up good and obviously work a treat. I like the stained ones with the top left burgendy one looking great. If you ever want to make a surface lure then a paddle bib on the front of the stained ones would work a treat on the cod I am thinking.

Use to buy nils master lures and use to lose sooooooooo many..Decided to try making my own lures from then on (1979)..Paint was expensive and couldn't afford it so i burnt them..Caught more than the nil masters believe it or not...
