Here are a few of my Huey's lures that I have had for quite a long time.

Gee they are oldies, I haven't used the green cards since 1995.Wink
All made by hand (shudder)
If they have the 'H' stamped on them (belly) they are amongst the first made. We were the first in Australia(and possibly the world) to manufacture a grub lure from timber and  place bibs. We were also the first to do the glow in the dark grubs, copied now by so many!
Just  a little history for you!
Regards
Carl

Thanks Carl, I picked up quite a few, (probably same place Laurie did LOL ), MO tackle Coffs. They were all on green cards, 1995 you say, I'll dig them out to see if they have the 'H', is that for Huon Pine?
Lovely little hand-crafted lures.
Regards, Tony.

Carl
Thanks for the Info.
I was told that the "black" bibs were earlier than the clear bibs.
Yes or no???

Tony
I'd say the "H" is for Huey's or Hyland.

Laurie.

G'daye fellahs, the 'H' is for Hueys. The first bibs were actually painted zincalume and they would be near 20 years old.
I then went to black lexan which I found was a great 'cplour' for bibs. Anyway, pardon the pun, but saw the light some years later and went to clear lexan. Hope this helps
Regards
Carl

Thanks guys, should have known what the 'H' was for Ouch. Mine are all clear bibbed with no 'H' so must be later. I'll be down next week, so going to raid that MO bargain bin again, might be a couple left I don't have.
Regards, Tony.
