Here's some of my Walures, if my memory serves me correctly, these date pre-1987 and were bought from A.B. O'Dougherty's tackle store in Sydney before it closed for good (big shame!).

Just saw this section
Dont know how I missed it.
These were well crafted and nicely painted little lures and great on Trout.
I thought they were no longer made ?
Last I heard the original maker of these was either very ill or had actually passed away, cant remember now exactly.

That pic came out of a "Mo tackle" before it went glossy.
I set up the lures for that shot.(should have kept them) Laurie. |

You are spot on . Why don't they date their papers.I am also missing the front page and they also don't show the issue number throught out the paper as well.
Quite a number of interesting lures makers in this particular paper and will post if not already recorded
on the site
Regards John

Thanks to ebay and Mxb, I have been able to add a couple more to my collection.
Still a few to get, so if you have any not pictured and are willing to part with them just send a PM DONT post a pic (someone might annoy the hell out of you) Laurie. |

Laurie, I feel a mappatassie is needed.... I have a couple of peices of old silky oak faced ply from a bedhead lying around.... would look good behind those.
What area is needed for displaying all your Walures??? Brad |
