An other great Norwegian luremaker was Alf. A. Kolseth, he started making his "Hulder" a massiv devontype ca 1934. He soon added more types as : Hulderskjea, Storauren, Gullhake, Kvernfisk, Fossekall, Antonskjea, Straum and Basen. The prodution stopped in 1960.
Casting with lures get very popular in Norway from ca 1930, before that it was only trolling with thin light spoons. All Kolseth lures was made for casting, also most of the K.A.R lures also. Delfin came with their first casting lures in 1932.
Here are Kolseth's own board from his office, with all types and decors from the early 50's. I have got it from Kolseth's son.

Thanks For posting Jon Outstanding display. I note all have light gauge trebles, and very few with long stems.
Split rings appear very fine as well, do any of them have single rings regards John |

First : all the rings are spittrings.
As I wrote the Hulder was his first lure and the first of them was 13gram. After a few years he made 3 different weights : 10, 15 and 30(28)gram and the 13g was dropped.
Here are from a catalog 1936 with two of this first lures. As you see the first model was very pointed, all later Hulder are more flatnose. Se pic of my board

Yes beautiful things John, something about brass, warm and even when it's new it looks antique.
Thanks for a look at your collection.
