Our trip to the tablelands with Carl and Ron Gallo.Meeting up with John Collett from Wild River Lures.
At the copy lathe.
At the Bandsaw
At the 3 chuck drill press.
At the Sander.
Cutting bibs.
Shaping the bib.
Curving the bib.
At the copy lathe again.
Lure in progress with the cam follower on the home made steel mandrel.

My kind of guy, gear and sawdust everywhere, making his own tools/machines -- only difference I can see is he is much more organised/tidy than I.
Sometimes it's criminal to have so much knowledge and experience in one place, what if there were some sort of accident . ---------starting to sound like my ex!! Thanks Barry, these little pieces of history are always very interesting. Pete-R |
