In keeping with my experimenting with balsa, here are the last few I have knocked out.

Balsa makes a really bouyant surface lure, sits up high in the water and walks easily. The silver one has already accounted for a few bass up to 45cm.

Inspired by the American large mouth bass scene, I have tried a few flat sided cranks and square bills. Sizes 50 to 60mm.

And a few made from bits of offcut

A lot more work to strengthen them than using harder woods, but part of the fun is to try new things

Thank you for the comments. The spotted dog lure swims exceptionally well, I intend to make a few more. I can't wait to throw it around for a few trout.
