Those flies look good "make do's" with what you've got materials. One big problem with the bibbed fly in the top right hand is it will twist you leader maddening you to a point where you cut it off and never tie it on again. Cheers Pat.

G'Day Jas how's it going ? Jas problem is when you cast back and forth even if you only do one backcast the fly will "helicopter" twisting the leader so after a few casts you've got a slinky at your fly tie in point. Those cicada flies I tied and posted a while back suffer the same fate but have an unexpected effect making the leader unwind when it lands looking like a cicada buzzing on the surface. You can reduce the twisting with a heavy leader e.g. 20lb plus but it tends to kill a flies action. Cheers Pat.
