Bert Welch from Mallanganee made a lot of lures from the 1960's onwards. He was a well known "Jew" fisherman & did a lot of "Perch" (bass) fishing as well. He is still around today. I have 2 examples given to me by his son (my best mate). I notice he's used a Nilsmaster bib on one of them. Hope this helps identify a few unknowns.

I just noticed the eyes are completely different. Makes it hard for anyone to identify his lures. His son Brad said he made hundreds, if not thousands. There must be a lot out there in the "unknown" section.

Thanks Chep, I believe I may have a few of Burt's lures. I'll have to get into my unknowns from the black hole - I mean "container" to look for them.
