Hey guys,
Working on my first deep divers and I have a questions about testing tow point location on bib-towed lures. I have seen suggestions about placing multiple tow points on a test bib and trying them all out for the best spot. My question is when testing this, lets say I plan on using snaps for the tow point, how much difference would it make for testing if I just used loop knots tied direct to the bib to find the best tow point and then snaps on the final product? I just find attaching the snaps a bugger and dont want to muck around with it each time during testing... I will if I have to though. ha ha Thanks guys. Ces. |

I use several bibs with differing tow positions, just interchange them until I get the action I'm after.......

If you are going to put a tow arm on, then tying directly with the line you would not be able to tune it if it swims crookedly.

Copy guys. I'll stick with the one bib with multiple holes and then move the snap forward and back.
Is it necessary to tape over the holes that aren't being used for each test? Thanks for the help guys. Cheers, Ces. |
