I just started this one about an hour ago. Alder body, gonna be a floating deep diver.... one you can bounce off structure and the bottom, but then stop and float it out of trouble. I still have a little bit of sanding to do, but I’m happy with the shape. Not sure what paint job I’ll do yet once it’s sealed up. I’ll post progress pics.

Meanwhile, I’m heading out to the Texas gulf coast. Hopefully I’ll get onto some Speckled Trout and Redfish....

:)

And the other one I’m working on today .... a bluegill crank to catch pike, musky, and other larger predatory fish.

Here are some in progress pics ....

Hi :)

I typically use alder or poplar. I’ll do some “swim test” videos once they are completed.

Maybe after a bit of testing I’ll paint a couple up and send them out your way for a bit of “on the water testing” :)

Should be able to find time to work on them this week. I’m a musician, so I travel a lot. In the past few weeks I’ve been in Texas (home), Colorado, New Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Cozumel, and Jamaica !!!
