    Posted: 28 Feb 2011 at 1:23pm
This was the largest Black Bass landed on my recent trip.It took a Mencho's Micro Mackerel at 8pm on a gorgeous
moonlit night. We had caught about 9 nice fish casting to a logjam and I convinced my clients to sit it out till after dark.We then trolled passed the edge of the jam and first pass this one latched on.
790mm long and about 8-9kg.
We ended up landing it about 100 mtrs downstream in the strong current.

Nice fish Barry, arnt they a brute, looks like a Bream on steroids--AND Mencho would be chuffed with that swinging off his lure.

This lure is testament to how they are put together ,it is not a through wire construction but with wires glued in with super glue and bib attached the same way ,,standing up to the worlds toughest fish,
well done to Barry and his client to land this fish.
Regards Darcy.
