Any lure makers out there that specialises in making shad shape lure?
I've looked around along and heap in USA but was wondering if there's anyone in Australia that could help me out |

I've got a couple herring templates somewhere, I'll dig them out and knock out a couple and post a pic. If I remember correctly they are 75 & 90 mm.

CRAFT Herrings - bigger one is 90mm and 18g, it is weighted to counter bouyancy. The smaller one is 75mm and 8g and unweighted. Both are shallow divers and dive to around a metre. Made from cedar. |

They should both be good for murray cod and yellowbelly down there and for anything else that eats herring in the salt and bony bream in the fresh.

Man that look bloody awesome. So rare to find a mass market lure in that shad shape that actually is a shallow diver in the shop
