We have some extremely talented members on our site.
Congratulations to Jim on winning best in show again in Melbourne.
Having to come up with something different to wow the judges each year is not easy and the skill and expertise involved in doing so is testamount to Jim's incredible woodworking ability.

This is the bowl that won.It is not inlayed bits of timber glued onto a finished turned bowl.Every piece of timber is solid and goes all the way through.
The Journey is the Reward

WOW,that is awesome. What a great talent you have. Almost anyone can be a designer but you have the skill to make it a reality. You are a genius and the first prize is well deserved. Congratulations.

Thanks Gentlemen, for our flattering comments.  Designing the damn things is easy enough, building them is a little testing...  Wink.  Mmmm a segmented lure for the Expo???  Interesting thought, we will see what happens.  Wink
