Oh my goodness - what a sight for sore eyes that is!
Thanks for posting it up Allan, that lure looks like the "missing link" between mine with the hooks in the claws, and the later model. The head is very similar to mine (including the eyes, feelers, and general shape) yet the carapace is more like the later model. The carving in the front nippers is also very similar to mine. One thing that looks completely different is the tail! Is that all timber? How cool is that! |

Here's a pic of mine to compare Allan - I forgot to get the ruler out when I took the pics However the body length (excluding bib) is approx. 70mm and the total length is about 93mm, the nippers are approx. 40mm long (excluding hooks) |
