I have been waiting for this lure for 12 months.
It was handmade by Daiki Kobayashi in Osaka for the Tokyo International Tackle Show 2009.
He was part of a school initiative for students all over Japan to take part in a competition to make a lure for the show.Daiki's lure won and was in a large glass display case at the show.
The lure is called Zarigani which means American Shrimp.
It is handmade from a Japanese wood and the bumps were put on after carving.I still have to find out about it a bit more.
I hope you guys like it as there is a lot of work been put into it.

It looks like it was well worth the wait Barry - a deserving winner by the look of it, and a great addition to your collection Clap

Cheers, Tony
