Picked up this old Daiwa "Rod Harrison Collection" rod this morning along with a bundle of lures at a local garage sale for $20.00. I used to have the double handed baitcaster a long time ago. Will be a good project to get it back in shape. I might have to find a good old blue Millionaire to match up with it.

Nah, just a small Mad Mullet. No timber lures left. He sold two Calcuttas for $50 ea before I got there!

Could be Steve, the data sticker was damaged but I could read 8KG. A good solid rod that would suit Barra and Jacks and 20lb mono.

Great pickup. Some nice fishable lures to throw at the extra gnarly snags there.

Nice pick up Ian
I have still got a Daiwa Rod Harrison Rod, same colors blue and white. 15 kg overhead roller tip,Bought it early 90`s for trips to Bermagui on the yellowfin tuna. Not worth a lot today but holds a lot of great memories and I figure it still owes me a few fish. Kimo |

It certainly was, we ended up getting over a dozen big Barra up to a metre plus and some cracker Fingermark over the next week. I actually caught one of them again exactly one year later.
