Hi Guys, i have a couple of lures that I am unsure what I should do with. One is a leads lure and the other a Killalure. Not sure on their value but I was contemplating stripping them back and clear coating them. Would this affect what value they do have? Would a paint job by another luremaker be an option? Or should I just leave them as is? So many questions but at least I am asking the right people Wink Cheers Scotty

A reprint by another maker might not improve their value but sure makes them a prettier hybridWink

Ok a repaint it is then. How would be the best way to go about this? Do I post a request for a maker on this site to paint them or select one and PM them. Forgive my ignorance but I haven't done this before.

Cheers Scotty

I would get them repainted. You will need to scrape and sand them back. Fill any holes with timber putty. Sand again.

I would just approach someone via PM!

Interesting with that leads is the timber it has been made from....very dark colour....probably red cedar.
cheers steiny
