I met Darryl (Darrel?) Morganstern who recently retired to Redcliff from Blackbutt. Darryl made these lures to fish for bass and yellowbelly in the South Burnett region, this may help to identify an unknown or two.

Martin, top two look very professional, but the next two well! Wouldn't have picked by the same maker.
Save me one of the top two as an Expo trade, new maker for my wall Wink.

Yes, Darryl made some unique lures over time and incorporated rattles into them using .22 long rifle shells and a small ball ,he was part of the Nth bris Sportfishing Club with his two sons (Warren,Bruce),I painted a few for him once to give him an idea on finish etc. Martin, in that top pic the 2nd lure from top you can see where he has inserted the rattle chamber

Mick, I think you mean a Flicks or Blitzbagger lure, Darryl came from the same area as the makers and played with shapes for his own usage .
