The first version(V1) of the "Duck Ruckus" surface lures was developed in 2012. To the best of my knowledge, since then a further four versions have been released.

Version 1 2012-2014
Version 2 2015
Version 3 2016
Version 4 2016
Version 5 2016

Version 1

Version 1 (2013 Lure Expo)

Versions 1-3

Version 4

Version 5

The "Duck Ruckus" was just one of quite a few Deep River Bird Surface Lures that have been released. Some of the other models include: Rosella, Coot, Moorhen, Wren, Robin, Kingfisher, Swamp Hen and Finch.

Yes, I agree with you Sel that these lures are "superb". Here are some extra photos illustrating a few of the other Deep River "bird" models that I can add to the record. Maybe others would like to contribute as well?

Barney, great lure maker, last I heard he was living and still making in Emmaville NSW.
Found one of his Baby Barra models in natural barra colour, recently here in Darwin, his lures get around.
