Dunknow About this one, I had not seen them before which dose not mean that they are not common. Look to be a snap swivel From what era I have no Idea
I thought some here may know more about it than me

They look old and very well made. Great bit of old tackle.

hard to put a date on them,i know the top two are still made like that but they could be over a hundred years old too (i have seen 100+ year old phantom minnows with the exact same ones) .they are pretty cool though. those ones with the snaps are they for lures or line? anyone have any ideas?
that's no how ye make porridge!

I think they were called " box" swivels in some old fishing books.

Thanks Guys
Did you mean they were all called Box Swivels ?
Any Idea`s How or what the top pictured one was used ?
I tried googling around and found nothing on them Perhaps I was looking under the wrong titles.
There where a lot of old boxes of hooks also
Haven`t got the names of them with me at the moment
Some where British no longer in business some where Rapala. I contacted them and was put in touch with home office, whom were very helpfull. From memory I think they said 1930 but the hooks in the box did not match the description on the box
I can post their emailed reply if there is any interest.
Cheers Kimo
