Found this recently and it seems like not a lot of outlay to get the salmon ponds ready for the ova that started it all. I have more articles from this time if any one is interested |

Matt was it late 1850's or early 1860's.
It is a bit hard to read all the info. Did Tassie provide the mainland with there trout or did the other states get their own in. Nice find Regards John

Hi John this ones mid 1850, jkr is right first tassie then onto melbourne and NZ although the initial cost was shared with NZ this I didn't know until li read these reports.
