Graeme unfortunately these ones will be holidaying 10m down against the Jindy substratum. They'll get to see the old submerged town before being eaten by a cranky brown trout

Love that green colour, and the small white dots from the lace pattern really accentuates  that colour.

I took these Jindy Eurabbies to Jindabyne during the week. Got some photos of them the morning we left before they saw action. I was really happy with how they fished when casting and trolling, and with the browns they caught. Will certainly think about making some more in the future.

Thanks Dan, Martin and John.

John they are 42mm. Each one is quite different from the last. A couple are bulkier and there are different bib shapes and angles. I wanted to see which ones trolled and which ones retrieved the best. At this stage I can't quite tell, plus I didn't swim all of them. Have so many ideas for micro trout lures but absolutely no time to make a single one. I'll be in sight of retiring in 35 years so maybe then I can knock out a few thousand.

Cheers,

Danny.

Thanks Nicho.

Me neither Graeme. Drew up 3 new micro designs last night. Can't help myself, will have to make them. Need to get Evie onto the scroll saw as soon as she's got signs of dexterity.

Cheers,

Danny.

Hi Dave. No I don't have weights in them. I like the bouyancy for both casting and trolling, as I can back it up over rocks and timber when it starts hitting. I'm running it on the inside rod in low light quite close to the bank in <2m of water. Same with the Nawa and Kopi. They've been deadly on bigger resident brown trout as well as rainbows rounding rocky points.

Graeme I want to try and make an even smaller one for streams. Maybe 25-30mm for ultra light trout fishing. Don't know if they'd get the attention of a Glenlyon cod.

Cheers,

Danny.

Hi Graeme.

Nice work, that's an incredible fish. Yes you certainly don't have to sell how effective small lures are to me. They're pretty much all I want to make and fish these days.

Cheers,

Danny.

Here is the final look I've gone for. These ones went to some wonderful LL folk. Happy with the alterations to the card, and this is the way they shall be sent out to members and friends from now on.

Very old school with the low contrast seipia tone landscape , cursive lure name and logo. The crisp white boarder brings it to 2017
Well done
I have been struggling with packaging myself I know what appeals to me and I think I have a eye for what is appealing and have studied what others have done,,,
,,,Just not much of an idea how to get there.
Coming up with something original that dose not upstage, clash, blend, gaudy or Hambone your product and gives people an idea who you are. Is something I have not found easy.
