Hi guys haven’t been around for a while, kids and work the last couple years but with this isolation I’ve jumped back on the lure making.
First lure I coated turned out great Nic hard glass finish, two days later mixed another batch of envirotex on three lures and after 3 days it is still tacky and I think has lost a small amount of gloss.
Could the be a slight miss calculation with my amount of part A and B?
Is there anything I can now do with this tacky finish?

definitely an uneven mix or not mixed for long enough.

or old product.

make sure its exactly 50 50 mix then add another drop of hardener...example.
10ml of resin 11 or 12ml of hardener...just to be sure.

not too much hardener though! otherwise you will get a soft finish easily dented with fingernail once cured....not sticky..but soft..useless overtime,
if its tacky its just not mixed well or not enough hardener added.

hope that helps

mix for at least several minutes in every direction known to man and let sit for a few minutes to settle.
then apply when its the consistency of honey on a nice day.

do as I mentioned above and recoat your tacky lures..10mlresin to 12ml hardener stirred very very well. its fine to coat over tacky, safe to do so.

Nicho knows all about ''Tacky'' Lures- - -  - -LOLLOLLOL.
BUT he's right.
If you are in Victoria the cooler temperatures may have a bit to do with it, very cranky stuff in the winter here.
