Cheers Blinky, I’m guessing it won’t be as nicer finish as etex lite but might be a damn site easier to apply.

I'd be looking at it as a hardener....I waste an awful lot of Etex when hardening.   I'll see how well it soaks in when sprayed on......

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has tried this product as of yet, am guessing the coat wont produce as deep a finish - but very keen to find out the results.

Spray Etex just arrived yesterday, gave a few prepared bodies a hit.....it soaks in very well raising the grain. Dries in about an hour (in my weather anyway). I gave the lures about six coats (with a good sanding between) until the gain no longer raised. It's comes up glass smooth after that many coats and sanding back.

'Tis pretty time consuming and I used roughly 3/4 of the can on six bodies. At $21.95 plus postage it is more expensive than using the normal Etex which only requires two coats, 1 x thinned, 1 x unthinned to come up glass smooth anyways.
So there you have it.
