I recently fished Glenbawn (Dec 09) and called into the local tackle shops to pick up some more cats but was told by all store owners that they have not been able to get their hands on any more. Does anyone know where I might find some more of these fantastic lures? I want them more to fish rather than for the collection. Check out the lure in the picture, these things work so consistently at Glenbawn. They dive very deep.

Thanks guys, the kiosk at Glenbawn has run out and has been waiting ages for a new order. The tackle shop at Aberdeen is in the same position. I am going to contact the Bass Angler and see if they have stock, they've been very helpfull in the past.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your assistance. I just bought all the remaining stock (15) of Ferral Cats at the Australian Bass Angler. They do expect to get more stock so the Ferral Cat is not extinct. Yippee!

Bob it's interestng you say that because we had real success at Glnbawn at Christmas with black and red (and purple & black as well) Viking Talisman lures. Both the Bass and goldens were all over them.
I've only just managed to get some red & black FerralCatts.
Interestingly we caught quite a few fish on bright red/orange/yellow lures as well, but not as many as those caught on red & black.
I've never fished St. Clair or Lostock, but I have visited St Clair and it sure looks full of wood!

Bob,
I checked out Lostock and was surprised to see it is on the Patterson. My Bro never shuts up about the Patterson, he fishes it regularly with a mate from Dungog. I'll have to go have a look. Is there just a speed limit on all boats or is it restricted to sail & electric powered vessels?
