The tenterfield tow point is a bit too heavy for the tiny kads...
I did spot some thin wire here though..might try it.

They have a rather lazy swaying paddle as is...folding the wings in a bit more increases the action. At 8 inches long and pretty chunky they leave a goodly wake.

A bit hard to get enamel paint to dry here at the moment with the chilly weather.
Running a few more bigger designs out though...keen to see the action on the jointed lures.

The ones I'm making now are bigger than the one you have Mick...I'm hoping to get up to Copeton soon to annoy the cod with them...the jointed ones should be great.
The big scorpion looking one is a jewie size lure I'm working on.

hope you get to test them on a few big green fish dave. speaking of jewies, i went fishing last night with taylor and his mate. got my first jew on hardbody, about ten kilos. slow roll and got smashed right at the boat. taylor got an even bigger one, about fifteen kilos. post up photos when he sends me the photos........mick

Been a bit quiet for a while...but a few blokes hassled me into making a few more lures.
I'm working on a couple of different lures though.
A dambuster styled lure...
And a variant on my yabby shape, more of a frog shape, in a couple of sizes...
