Hey, so I have been making surface lures but being closed cod season I thought it was time to broaden the horizon. Very pleased with the protos, looking forward to swimming them. This was also my fist time using envirotex...wish I used it from the start..that stuff is magic! Thanks for looking.

Thought I would keep adding to this post on my progress if people are happy to view. Happy to share my limited experience and lessons learnt along the way too.

Latest lesson - the saying goes 'you get what you pay for'. Well that applied to my quick disconnects off eBay.. lately I have been having the worst time spraying my lures. Trouble with autoborne sealer, colours and clear. I did put this down to the cold weather, however after having the same issues recently it clicked that I only began having the issue once I added the quick disconnect to my airline. Tried it without...not one blockage or problem spraying for the remainder of the night! Maybe I got a dodgy one, not sure...but it's good to have it sorted!!

Yeah Danny! I am thinking about outsourcing though. I don't mind making them but don't love it either. Probably just make the bibs for prototypes and once I'm 100% happy I will get them made.

Surface lures complete and ready for the season

Couldnt be happier how my divers turned out and swam for my first attempt. I wanted to get some out to the local anglers during spring for some testing. The plan was to knock out half a dozen 60mm divers before work sends me away again but I ran out of time..sucks when real life gets in the way. These babies will have to wait till I get home.
