did a little bit of research Barry ,wynrod were a rotorua based tackle company that made thier own rods from about the mid 60's into the 70's.,they've been out of business for over twenty years they bought thier blanks from killwell among others ,i think they did glass rods earlier and later were making graphite ones .does your rod have any markings?

chris ... i bought it at a garage sale on bribie for a friend - i am no longer a feather chucker - it only said 9'
- it was a bit marked where the description was but it seemed a nice 2 piced rod - with snake guides & cork grips - came with a pommy reel loaded with backing & a flyline ... all for $ 20 !!!
my mate was stoked !!! TongueTongue
