Here are the full original colour set of the New England Mudrakers and Mudrats. Very nice lures which I have been chasing for a while now. Next to track down is the Mudler surface lure set which is the lures that the Kingfisher Mantis lures evolved from I believe.

Dont they look nice all togetherWink

No Bob, they are still made, in limited numbers, in timber, mainly Jeluton.

Mike and Stu focus on the Kingfisher brand of lures in the plastic range of 'Tempest' lures and 'Mantis' surface lures. The New England range (Mudraker, Mudrat, Mudler)  is made on the side more for there own personal enjoyment of working with wood I believe. I dont know if they are available anywhere but their own store in Inverell and occasionaly on ebay under their username.

Not 100% sure but I think you can only get them from the Inverell store these days when Mike has a chance to carve out a few.

I called in to meet Mike last week and bought the only one on the hook. They were very busy painting the new colour range for the Mantis range which will be distributed thru Saga Tackle come October. I came out of the workshop regretting not taking my camera and I couldn't take it all in. Great people!
