I had these two old ( late 80's Richard ? ) lures of Richard's hanging in the shed for a while before thinking that they deserved a restoration . Richard kindly agreed to look after them for me when his busy schedule allowed , I was able to slip around and pick them up this morning . A new bib fitted to the jointed model and paint jobs so close to original Thumbs Up , they look smashing Richard , much appreciated mate .

Chris, Not intentionly, the red lure is different but on looking closely the jointed lure looks same. I`ve got a box full of old stencils, keep them just incase they might come in useful!!! Cheers Richard

The jointed one was actually found wedged in some rocks in one of the bays on Magnetic Island off the coast of Townsville . Old mate wanted something to drag behind his yacht so I swapped him a giant trembler for it LOL .

I recently acquired a few of Richards lures that were in need of attention! I sent them off to him a couple of weeks ago to see what he could do. They arrived today and I'm quite impressed with how they turned out! Clap He informed me that the top one was not one of his and we're not sure yet who may have made it? Hope you like them as well...

I have pictures of the top lure and the Scorp before restoration. The Scorp was in a bad way and was missing its bib and a big chunk of belly timber. The other one still has me baffled, the paintwork looks a bit like a Local Lure...Confused
