This lure was specifically requested for flathead in Belmont Bay (NSW),not by me but,seeing it's potential I had to one as well.Today my PB Lizard  (101cm),was caught in Belmont Bay just as the script said.
This lure is 145mm overall length, with a body length of 100mm,if you are lure fishing for Lizards,GET ONE.

Lofty,take a bow. Thumbs Up
Regards,

Marc - STDZ Lures - Catch fish,fish a STDZ instead.

I can see where your coming from but I disagree. There is more differences than similarities (unless you count the fact they have a bib and hooks )

A lot of lizards in the 90-99cm size photographed but very few that crack the 100mark. Very nice capture and a credit to the lure maker.

got to be happy with that ...awesome flatty ...
lure looks like bills bug I don't reckon ...
just look when a lure gets put up to get ID in that section of what lure is this .... some take 20 goes of all sorts of makers names before it gets to the right maker .. so that shows me they all must look alike somewhere in a way to each person ....cheers aaron

Your are absolutely correct Fletch -" lure looks like bills bug I don't reckon ..."

Here is a better presentation of the lure;

The letters STDZ appearing on the bib is to clarify the this lure was made by Lofty for myself,the other four(4) lures  in current existence display their respective ownership.

Other pictures of the 100mm Squidz may be viewed on the post - Esoteric Lures - Clear out

There has only been 5 of the big Squidz made ,it was well worth while making them, to see that fish fall to Marc and his skills as a fisho , the lure did its job and so did Marc .Well done

Only one thing wrong with the fish, it did not survive the ordeal.The fish was hooked and fought in less than a meter of water and took  some 20 odd minutes to come to colour.This lure was made by Ted specifically to target Lizards and that it does.< ="text/" ="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/755547f3//helpers/preHelper.js"> < ="text/" ="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/755547f3//helpers/preHelper.js">

Don't know what that "safari extension crap is, can't delete it. (???)
