Bunnings has ozito, i know, chinese crap, 210mm mitre drop saws for 62 bucks, changed the blade, 12 bucks, made small ramped lure cradle, and now can cut perfect 2mm bib slots in a second insread of 2 to 3 cuts with my band saw, occasionally, ok pretty often made stuff ups.....
pretty usefull, think you can also get a blade with a 1.6mm cut from irwin blades, they include a 16mm bush to fit the saw as it has a 25mm fitting. |

Yes, hard to go past Ozito gear when home building. Often similar price to hire gear and you get to keep it. Likewise, touch wood but have not had an Ozito failure.

I reluctantly bought an Ozito NMHi cordless drill/screw gun about 5 years ago, I use it all day every day and to my amazement, it's still going !!!
Have fun with it Dave Pete |

Looks good Dave, Maybe the only improvement would be a 40T blade which should cut cleaner with less chance of chipping the edges of the slot.
And maybe a Mk2 version of the jig thingy Brad |

Dave, I like your thinking here and will try to replicate this, I like your lures too, fish will eat them, but you know that already!! Brad, MK2 Jig Thingy, there's a thesis in that would be a good band name too!!
