Would want to win the raffle for your lures alone, let alone all of the other great lures.

Top shelf work Pete! very nice.

When are you going to make some cod sized lures? I reckon they would be very popular

Thanks everyone-- Thumbs Up
Matt,
How big is a cod lure ?
The red and yellow lures are both 10cm (or 115 o.a) .
I thought these were giants compared to what I normally make LOL.

Yeah ok thats big enough, now you have to get it to dive to 20 foot plus with a wide action.

I started off with 70 mm lures, but now up to 135 mm (body only) average size around 90 mm body though.

Oh and I have realised the cod guys love ally bibs not poly.

Cheers,

Matt

Three ''Spotted dogs''  (brown trout) @10 cm gold leaf.
One a 'proto',  one for the 2016 L/L prize pack, and one to fish -- great gold 'flash' on these Big smile .

Thanks everyone-- still struggling for consistency with the metal leaf though, sometimes it's bang on and on others it's all over the place, every time I get a dud it's another blank down the drain.
The two bottom ones are a bit ''flecky'' and doesn't look as good as the top one, but I think they are a more natural 'random'  Brown Trout pattern.
I must have 5 different bottles of gold size here from $10 to $70 a container Wacko and none of them have a consistent tack.
Soldiering on though--Pete   Stern Smile

I've been working on these for a long while, they have evolved from a standard "run of the mill'' shape (new) which had a lot of problems with getting any depth, to what I now like to call a ''Shovel Head", which appears to be a hell of an improvement.
Two sizes here, 90mm and 100mm (120mm and 130mm O/A), all with a concave (''parabolic'' ) reflector on  top, coated with gold, silver or copper  'metallic leaf' - I'm thinking this metallic leaf may be a good attractor much like brass,  silver, or copper spoons, for trout, yellas and cod-  this concave head also assists with planing / depth,  I'm not sure what max depth is yet.
A few more to come.!!

Pete.
