Nice Deb, shame its got that extra screw and suspendot on the nose.

well it looks like a suspendot, bit blurry when I zoom it out Confused

Wonder why the screw eye is on top? Could that have been added later?

The three eyes look original.

I haven't seen any other 3 eyed Newell Lures. (maybe that is where the other eye went from the Newell Bunyip)
Extra large DD bib, screw head thru the top, and larger boney size, possible lack of undercoat tells me it could have been meant for a test run. Alas the owner is no longer with us to tell the history of the lure. Glad to have it in my collection.
