we used to catch big ones on 1 kg line at the outfall canal at tennyson power station lots of fun

To be fair - I have caught heaps of different species on Nicho's lures - sooties and toga love themThumbs Up and freshwater barra don't mind them eitherClap

did the same bazz, my old mans nylon cord lines he used up north for the black jew, brake cables off a pushbike, two or three ganged 10/0s, cut a big catfish down the back, turn it inside out, hook it on and throw it out into the spillway outlet,(warm water) and hang on. bull sharks, up to six, eight feet long. two or three of us standing on the spillway wall, about a foot wide, hanging on for grim death. if we fell in, you would be shark-shit. good fun.......mick
