Dave and Brian your right about the crownies ,a couple of beers and some good music and the creative mood kicks in big time .Ive had times where ive drunk too much while luremaking then gone in the shed the next day had a look at the lures and thought holy dooly what was I thinking last night!

its the same one Pete ,the big lures like that I can only work on from time to time(too many other things to do).there will be probably 50 or 60 hours work go into this bloke,i'm only doing one more pig after this one its too much

thanks Barry ,well I got this nice lure a while back from my old schoolmate Mick,he and a friend used to make a bunch of these up every year and donate them to the mackerel population in mackay where he lived.This one is his last surviving one so he decided to get me to "customise it"
a bit of slashing and hacking later we'll get some paint on this guy this week hopefully |

well theres Micks lure all finished
so lets make some floorboards a quick side profile cut on the jigsaw followed by a bib slot cut with the hand saw followed by a top profile application and an hours shaping ok so theres a snodgerbodger in there too look at this stuff talk about multi skilling.... |
