George, I think D.A.M did something similar, maybe not the same as the larger size Codder but somewhat like the smaller size.

Saw a large one in a Darwin blokes collection recently, same pattern as Cranky's boxed one, bloke said it came from his late dad's collection in Victoria, called it the 'Redfin' pattern, guess you'd agree with that?

The Redfin Pattern was the biggest seller.  I can remember selling them in the early '70's.  They were very popular before the large Flopy and 6" Flatfish became easy to get.  They were a very shallow swimmer, but caught some big fish in the early days in Lake Mulwala.  I'm pretty sure there was a dark green coloured one too.

i have the redfin ,has any one got a spare rainbow pattern...think there cool old lures , another thread about these lures has just started.
