The day after we got back from Mapoon, I left for Yepoon to meet up with fellow member and near life long friend FISHLIPS. Now Rodney doesn't get on the site much as he has trouble navigating his phone - pretty much a techno -phobe like me.

Now Rodney had hired a holiday house at Yepoon for 2 weeks and I was able to stay with him for this week - his last week. He and his mate from Wodonga (Rodney from from Townsville to Wodonga AGAIN last year) had got stuck into some cobia and had a few hits from big GTs last week. This week had been a bit quieter but today was blown out and seemingly tomorrow will be the same.

We got out to Barron Island for a couple of days though - mainly sharks and parrot fish on baits. But I did get a nice bonito on a Wal Muffet 12 cm wedgetail and Rodney was swiped by a doggie mackerel while using one of his own lures pinning it in the flank.

Martin-

you don't havta be pretty to fish
