Long story short - I've been working a FIFO job on a Pacific island (yeah, I know, but someone has to do it, right?). Took some of my lures over there and was showing the peeps I work with. Now when I do this the usual comment is "Can you make me some?". So I was really impressed with this young guy who said, "S&%t, can you teach me how to do that?"
This is his first attempt - wires glued in and waiting to be sanded off. Wires are a bit iffy but it'll work!

Great to see some young uns keen to learn.
My first lure I made was pretty Spartan and basic however it did the job and I was proud of it.
Good on you for teaching him.

Great work, Roy. The young fella is looking proud as piss already. Imagine the joy when he catches a fish on it. Thumbs Up

It won't be long and he will be showing his mates how to make lures. You will have left a great legacy. Well done.
