Must be a very early stumpy, especially with the way the eyes are painted and it looks like the time when he was using split pins?And before he settled on his colour chart - nice lureClap

it certainly is stumpyish,slimmer body and fatter head than later ones but the bib shape and oval shaped tow points are like later ones.bet that lure could tell some storiesThumbs Up

to the best of my knowledge john never painted eyes on stumpies,  all my old ones have the reflector eyes , the lure looks more like a home made job or copy but its older being it has a split pin tow point
